Why would you not leave her a tip. You should have talked to her first.
Terrible service. We were invisible. We had to track down our waitress to get drink refills, chips, and had to call to her and ask for the check. They allowed a young man to walk from table to table selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts ($10/doz) for what he claimed was a charity that mentors children. It was mediocre food and we were harrassed by solicitors and ignored by the staff.
First of all, it was really hot inside I dont know what was wrong with the a/c but it was 98 degrees outside. Then the waitress kept interrupting our conversations and carried out an attitude the whole entire time we where there. Poor service over all and will not come back anytime soon. Don't recommend this place.
Our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Went in on Sunday afternoon and was immediately pleased to see the demographics of the crowd. I assume that if the Hispanic community is in there, it must be good.We were immediately greeted by our waiter, who seemed happy to see us. There were a few language translation issues, but we got through them. Chips were kind of generic, but the salsa was a flavorful switch from the bland stuff served everywhere else. It actually had a taste!Food was excellent and portions were good sized. I'd have everything again!
Good food, delicious drinks, friendly staff, great for family and to watch the games. The drinks are huge I was tipsy off a medium margarita. I was here this weekend order beef chimichangas, Texas rice and quesadilla Mexicans. Everything was delicious. My waiter could have been better everyone was nice. I will definitely visit again.
Ordered a Texas rice. Took a picture of it before I started eating and noticed it didn’t have any shrimp it. Told the waitress and showed him the picture before I started eating as well and he still says it’s nothing he could do. He didn’t even offer to have shrimp cooked on the side that was supposed to come with the meal. I’m definitely not coming back here. That’s just bad service
Everything was fresh and delicious. Always wanted to try them and im so glad I did!!!
love the food and atmosphere. great prices also. and i am very picky with mexican food
Fast, friendly, and tadtr great.
Great Food and service
Excellent wait staff. They understand customer service. If you can satisfy two young boys picky appetite then you have my attention. Lots of fresh tortilla chips and salsas. Tacos according to your desire. A warm cheese quesadilla and more. I had the steak tacos (3) plate with beans and rice, and a fresh side salad topped with sour cream. It takes consistency and attentive staff to deliver great Mexican cuisine and top notch service.
First off when i got in there i noticed the place wasn't that clean. Then i ordered and then got the wrong food and they tried to say thats what i ordered. Then when it was corrected it wasn't worth the hassle. Then after all i got was attitude. Pretty bad experience. Wont be returning.
Good was good. Service was OK. Not the greatest I've ever had there. But this is our favorite Mexican restaurant.
Amazing food great drinks and awesome service!! Server was friendly and on top of everything! Food was delicious ,and very fresh! The server brought us a mild and hotter salsa without us requesting it so we could try both . The margaritas were amazing the bartender got it perfect they were also very fresh with cherrys and mint in the pitcher! Best Mexican food I’ve had in a while! Very pleased with the price of everything as well .
Let me just start this by saying I love tameles. They did not disappoint. Probably the best I have had in the low country. The rice and beans equally as delicious. Everything had a generous amount of seasoning and flavor. I will warn you the salsa is a bit on the spicy side. But I love spicy. Highly recommend if you want great food. Family friendly.
Fast and friendly staff. No small talk just good food in a hurry.
Poblanos was one of my first places I visited after I came to the States a year ago. It is a great place to eat. Music is vibrant and the food smell is desirable.
Lots of delicious options at this Location, I arrived at a funny time 2:30 PM to late for lunchtime specials and to early for drink special no discount and that's what I live for getting something for nothing. I decided to play it safe and ordered the chicken fajitas was pleasantly surprised the amount of food also plenty of toppings my bill was around $14.00 I didn't order and drinks just water
I'm not a big fan of Mexican food but my boyfriend and my son loves it so I tagged along. I stuck with the carne asada and I must say my steak was seasoned to perfection and the drinks were great.
Delicious food. Great service. Would have given a 5 star if the bar wasn't screaming and yelling so loud every 5 minutes while we where trying to eat dinner in the dining room. Fresh made taco shells and very fresh ingredients. Will definitely be back and hopefully where won't be so much yelling and screaming.
The manager was quick to solve the problems...the Santa fe rice was delicious
The melted cheese was a soup not a dip. But the margarita was good
Not only was I not able to order the Pueblo Bowl they forgot to Send my wife her limes
Friendly wait staff! Great food! Affordable prices!
Great food, cheerful atmosphere, friendly staff and refreshing drinks made for a wonderful evening with friends.
Excellent food Great, environment, fun friendly Staff very accommodating & professional. Definitely recommended for future visits for friends and family
For all the people that eat there, I’m Mexican-American and I know what a real Mexican restaurant should be about. This restaurant is NOT authentic Mexican food, it’s way overpriced and the staff are extremely rude. They only care about your money and not about your dining experience. Open your eyes and see the reality. Don’t believe me? Find out for yourselves.
Decent food and a good atmosphere. I'm from az so spoiled with mexican food. As for as Charleston goes, this was one of the better places I have been
We enjoy this restaurant every time we visit.
Good Mexican restaurant in North Charleston. The building is a little dated, but the food and service are very good. Great menu selections. There's a full bar. Great selection of happy hour specials. Service is exceptionally good. Great homemade guacamole. I would definitely recommend this place.
It was good and it doesn't take long
Amazing food and flavor. Good portions at a reasonable price. Very polite staff and great service.
Great make over while they were closed
Amazing! So good I had to get a tamale to go. The food was delicious. Chori-pollo was so good I'll definitely be there again soon.
Customer service is great. I love the Texas fajitas.
The house made tortilla chips are great. The food is always delicious with large portions. They always have drink or dinner specials. On occasion the male servers aren't that great (I literally had to go get my own beer from the bar after watching a table arrive after us get their cocktails before me); however, the female servers are always fantastic.
Wide variety menu selection. Pricing reasonable for a Mexican restaurant, guaranteed to go home full.
This place was amazing!!!! My friend and I ate here for the first time and the service was wonderful :) Our waiter was super nice to us~ We got refills on our drinks, and were served hot chips with our delicious salsa ❤ Not to mention, the good was incredible with really big portions (we took so much home). I definitely recommend the flautas and carnitas!
Good Mexican food good prices friendly servers
Great food, very nice staff and just a very laid-back atmosphere!!!
The food there was so good.
Great! One of the better Mexican restaurants I've been to - and I've been to many all over the US. Also, very clean! The restaurant looks well-maintained.
Excellent margaritas and great food. Also love the chips and salsa!
Service is sketchy at best. Our server is a cocky young guy. Food is nothing to write home about. Came out nearly cold. Go to Tiki Taco
Great meal and service. Mask were worn also and social distancing was in place. Food and drinks were exceptional.
Food was great. Service not great. They were out of Diet Pepsi and served my daughter Dr. Pepper syrup with no carbonation! Could have been a better experience, but the guac and cheese dip were spot on.
Food tasted good. But the cleanliness was poor. The menu had an old chewing gum stuck on it. The building needs some renovation.
My wife and I have eaten here for the past 7 years we lived in Charleston. The food is amazing and the staff are always friendly. Even when they have been extremely busy we have never had a problem. Love eating here.
Friendly people with a cozy atmosphere.the patio was nice i just wish it weren't by the rd..but drinks were amazing
Poblanos Mexican Restaurant on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston is one of the best options for Mexican food in the Charleston area. Everything that I have tried on the menu has been flavorful and very delicious and I have enjoyed every visit I have made here so far. The vibe and atmosphere of this place is very relaxed and positive and it is a good place to come to after a long day of work. The staff here is amazing and works hard to make sure that you have a dining experience here and that you have everything that you need.
